Can American express credit card used for change currency?

I have an American express credit card and going for 5 days I want to credit card verses currency when paying food and other things. I want to just know credit card is use for change currency.

1. You can use any credit card out of country, but you will be paying a currency conversion charge for every purchase you make and I mean every single one. Call AMEX to find out what the exchange rate is and they'll be able to tell you the % they charge.
